Teens Charged for Disturbance in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MD – An incident involving juveniles and cannabis escalated on Friday, August 4, around 4:54 pm on Greenwood Ave.

CPD officers, during a foot patrol, tried to address a 13-year-old male with cannabis. This led to the boy resisting while another 13-year-old attempted to intervene.

As officers managed the situation, a crowd gathered, creating disorder and necessitating backup.

During the chaos, Malik Alexander Kenneth Wilcox, 18, of Cambridge, was identified, leading to an Arrest Warrant. On Saturday, August 5, at about 4:40 pm, officers located Wilcox on Greenwood Ave.

The arrest was met with interference from the public and additional confrontations.
