Teens busted spray painting ‘Onion’ and ‘Look’ on Market Street Bridge in Wilkes-Barre
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Two teens were caught red-handed early Tuesday morning defacing the Market Street Bridge with spray paint, according to Wilkes-Barre City Police.
At approximately 1:07 a.m. on September 30, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief on the bridge. Upon arrival, police observed two individuals actively spray painting graffiti on the structure.
Officers witnessed the suspects painting the words “Onion” and “Look” directly onto a section of the bridge. Both were taken into custody at the scene without incident.
The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Orion Dziak of Plains Township and a 16-year-old male from Pocono Lake. Dziak was held for arraignment, while the juvenile was released into the custody of a responsible adult after processing.
The incident was recorded under IRC Number 250217508. No injuries or additional property damage beyond the graffiti was reported.
