Teens Shot, One Killed in Parking Lot at Delaware Mall Carnival

Wilmington, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of a teenager and left another injured at Concord Mall parking lot.

The incident occurred Saturday night and prompted the police response at around 10:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, troopers discovered two teenagers wounded as a result of a fight that escalated near a carnival at the mall. A preliminary investigation unveiled that an unidentified suspect fired several shots during the altercation, hitting the teenagers, and fled the scene promptly.

Authorities are appealing for anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
