Teens sought in violent robbery spree on Chicago’s West Side

Chicago, IL – Police are warning residents after a pair of strong-armed robberies in the 25th District in which two teens attacked victims before stealing their belongings.

The first robbery occurred on August 31 in the 1700 block of North Kedvale Avenue. The second incident was reported on September 6 in the 4200 block of West Wabansia Avenue.

In both cases, two unidentified offenders approached victims, physically battered them, and fled with stolen personal items, investigators said.

Authorities described the suspects as African American males between 15 and 17 years old. One is 5’10” to 5’11” with black braided hair, while the second stands 5’06” to 5’07” with an afro hairstyle.

Police urged residents to remain vigilant, keep properties well-lit, and preserve any video surveillance that may capture suspicious activity.
