Thanksgiving Day Murder Suspect At Large in Elizabeth

ELIZABETH, NJ – Elizabeth Police Officers responded to a reported homicide at Mravlag Manor in the early hours of Thanksgiving morning.

They discovered 30-year-old Victoria Myers, a resident of Elizabeth, deceased at the scene.

Gerard Manning, 30, also from Elizabeth, has been charged with first-degree murder and multiple weapons offenses, including endangering the welfare of a child. Manning remains at large.

The investigation is ongoing. The Prosecutor’s Office and Elizabeth Police Department urge anyone with information to contact Sergeant Filipe Afonso, Detective Alex Lanza, or Detective Tom Gaines at their respective numbers. Anonymous tips leading to an indictment and conviction may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000 through Union County Crime Stoppers.
