The fox says, “Honey I’m home” after entering house through doggie door

CARMEL VALLEY, CA – A homeowner in Carmel Valley got a surprise visit from a fox that entered their home through the doggie door. The sheriff’s department was called to remove the unwanted guest. Police did not file trespassing charges at this time.

“A family in Carmel Valley got a visit from a special visitor. A sneaky fox made his way into their house through a doggy door and was too scared to leave a bathroom,” the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said. “Two of our deputies responded to find out what the fox had to say. The deputies were able to wrangle the fox and lead him outside safely. So what did the fox say? We may never know. Some say it’s an ancient mystery. “
