The Pandemic is Over, President Joe Biden Announces

U.S. President Joe Biden votes in the Delaware primary, in Wilmington

WASHINGTON, DC – The COVID-19 pandemic is over. That’s a statement from United States President Joe Biden in a 60 Minutes interview published this week.

Biden was cautious to note that although he has declared the COVID-19 pandemic over, that the country is still facing a COVID-19 problem.

“The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with Covid. We’re still doing a lot of work on it. It’s – but the pandemic is over,” the President said.

The CDC, so far, does not fully agree. Today, the CDC still identifies COVID-19 as a public health emergency. If you visit the CDC website which was once dominated by COVID-19 news and warnings, it now highlights monkeypox and polio threats.
