Theft of Boat in Seaford Leads to Multiple Arrests

SEAFORD, DE – Early Tuesday morning, Delaware State Police arrested Emanuel Carlo, 21, and Lucas Giovinco, 27, for stealing a boat from a Seaford residence.

The incident was reported at around 7:50 a.m. from a home on Walker Road, where a Sunbird boat and trailer were stolen overnight.

Troopers located the stolen items at the Hampton Inn on Sussex Highway in Seaford. Investigations led to the identification of Carlo and Giovinco, who were later apprehended in Bridgeville.

They face charges including Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Conspiracy Second Degree.

Both suspects were arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. The case remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police.
