Thief Breaks Into Staten Island Synagogue

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to a burglary incident that took place at a Synagogue on Staten Island.

The incident occurred at the Congregation Ohel Abraham Synagogue, located at 136 Amador Street.

According to the report, on Wednesday at around 12:55 AM, an unidentified individual forcefully entered the synagogue through a side window.

Incidentally, no items were reported stolen from the premises. The suspect was last observed fleeing in the direction of South Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

The individual is described as a male with a light complexion, standing approximately 5’8″ to 6′ tall, and having a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a short sleeve button-down shirt and dark-colored jeans.
