He was the chubby goalie in Disney’s hit movie The Mighty Ducks (pictured below right), but today, actor Shaun Weiss of Van Nuys, California is behind bars after being arrested for burglary while high on methamphetamines according to the Marysville Police Department.
A homeowner called police after seeing Weiss meddling in his garage. By the time police arrived, Weiss was inside a vehicle in the garage. He had broken the window to gain entry. He was arrested by police and lodged in the Yuba County Jail, held on $52,000 bail.
Weiss was a beloved childhood actor best known for his role as Greg Golberg in the hit movie that eventually launched an NHL franchise. Weiss was arrested twice in 2017 for similar charges.
