Three $50K Powerball tickets sold in Maryland for Dec. 2 drawing

Baltimore, Md. — Three lucky Powerball players in Maryland are celebrating after winning $50,000 third-tier prizes in the Dec. 2 drawing, with tickets purchased in Pasadena, Landover, and Takoma Park.

The winning numbers were 3, 9, 26, 61, and 67, with the Powerball number 13 and a Power Play multiplier of x2. The $50,000 tickets were sold at 7-Eleven at 900 Merrimac Drive in Takoma Park, John’s Liquor & General Store at 812 Duvall Highway in Pasadena, and Landover Hills Exxon at 6579 Annapolis Road in Landover.

The Maryland Lottery reported a total of 9,459 winners in the state for the Dec. 2 drawing, with prizes ranging from $4 to the three $50,000 prizes. Winners are urged to sign the back of their tickets and store them securely before claiming their prizes within 182 days.

Prizes exceeding $25,000 must be claimed in person or by mail through the Maryland Lottery’s headquarters in Baltimore. Appointments are required for in-person claims and can be scheduled via the Lottery’s website.

The Powerball jackpot continues to grow, rolling to an estimated $240 million with a cash option of $113.6 million for the next drawing on Dec. 4.
