Three Arrested Following Deadly Shooting in Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA – Late Tuesday night, police responded to a report at 853 N Military Highway.

Upon arrival, they found a gunshot victim, 32-year-old Christopher Ambrister, who was subsequently declared deceased at the site.

From the ensuing inquiry, Detectives apprehended Isaiah K. Roberson, 26, Gavin M. Kearney, 21, and Shanasia A. Lyles, 19.

Roberson and Kearney, from Petersburg and Suffolk respectively, face charges of second-degree murder and firearm usage. Lyles, from Portsmouth, is charged as an accessory post the incident.

Currently, all three suspects are detained at the Norfolk City Jail, with no bond provided.
