Three Charged for Retail Theft in Poconos

POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA – On Wednesday, an arrest warrant issued by the Pocono Township Police Department was served on Richard Saunder.

The warrant pertains to an incident at the North Face Store in the Crossings, occurring on November 13.

Employees reported observing three males, including Saunders, who resembled suspects from a prior theft. Saunders attempted to flee upon police arrival but was detained.

Video footage review and subsequent investigations linked Saunders and two others, Timothy Abner and Brian Hughes, to multiple retail thefts in Philadelphia.

Charges against Saunders include retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, false identification to law enforcement, and resisting arrest. The public is asked to contact the Pocono Township Police Department at (570) 629-7200 with any relevant information.
