Three Pedestrians Injured in Utica Crash

UTICA, N.Y. — Three pedestrians, including two children, were injured in a motor vehicle accident on Route 12 Northbound at the Oswego Street intersection late Wednesday night.

Utica Police responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on July 24 after receiving reports of a collision involving a vehicle and three pedestrians. Upon arrival, officers found the driver of the vehicle and the injured pedestrians, an adult and two children.

All three victims were transported to Wynn Hospital for initial treatment. The two children were later transferred to SUNY Upstate Medical University for further care. One of the children sustained significant injuries and remains in critical condition.

The accident remains under investigation by the Utica Police Department.
