Three Powerball tickets worth $600K sold in Pennsylvania ahead of $1.25B jackpot draw
MIDDLETOWN, PA — Three Pennsylvania Lottery players are holding Powerball with Power Play tickets worth $200,000 each after matching key numbers in Monday’s drawing, as the jackpot swelled to an estimated $1.25 billion for Wednesday night.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the three winning tickets were sold in Lehigh, Wayne, and Dauphin counties. Each ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn — 23, 35, 59, 63, 68 — plus the red Powerball 2, and included the $1 Power Play option, boosting the prize to $200,000. Without Power Play, each ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was four.
The winning tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Whitehall Mini-Mart, 3690 Lehigh St., Whitehall Township, Lehigh County
- Weis Markets, 589 Hamlin Highway, Salem Township, Wayne County
- Rutter’s, 2800 Vine St., Londonderry Township, Dauphin County
Each retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners remain anonymous until prizes are officially claimed and tickets are validated. Players have up to one year from the date of the drawing to come forward. The Lottery encourages players to sign their tickets immediately and check all entries carefully.
In total, more than 125,000 other Powerball tickets sold in Pennsylvania won prizes in the drawing, including more than 25,000 purchased with Power Play and over 14,000 with Double Play.
The next Powerball drawing will be held Wednesday at 10:59 p.m., with an estimated jackpot of $1.25 billion and a cash value of $572.1 million.
