WASHINGTON, DC – Authorities are investigating a shooting in Northwest Washington that resulted in one man’s death.
On Wednesday at approximately 9:24 p.m., Third District officers responded to a shooting report in the 600 block of O Street, Northwest. They found two men with gunshot wounds, both of whom were transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS.
One of the men, identified as 34-year-old Deangelo Jones of Northwest, was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts. The second man sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A third man self-transported to a hospital and was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
