Three suspects remain at large after Bronx home invasion that left two injured

BRONX, NY — Police are searching for three individuals involved in a violent home invasion in the Bronx that left two people injured on Friday afternoon.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in an apartment near Tremont Avenue and Unionport Road. Two unidentified male suspects forced their way into the residence, with one brandishing a firearm.

During the attack, one male suspect struck the 27-year-old male resident on the head with the firearm, while the other choked a 27-year-old female resident. Police reported that the assault ended abruptly when the female victim began screaming, prompting the intruders to flee the scene with an unidentified female who had been acting as a lookout.

Both victims sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.

Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate and seek information on the three suspects involved.
