Three suspects wanted in Spring Street robbery

NEWARK, NJ – Police are investigating a robbery that took place last week on Spring Street in Newark.

According to police, on April 6, a male victim was surrounded by two suspects as a third served as a lookout during a robbery that occurred at Spring Street near 8th Avenue.

After committing the robbery, the suspects fled northbound on Spring Street towards Clay Street.

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of these suspects to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
