Three teens charged for robbery at Glen Burnie Dollar Tree

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Three teens between the ages of 14 and 16 were arrested shortly after robbing the Dollar Tree on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie on Thursday.

Officers responded to a robbery report at the Dollar Tree, located at 6651 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, on Thursday.

After arriving at the business, officers found that three black male teens had entered, and one of them had announced, “This is an (expletive) robbery; get out.”

One of the juveniles knocked over a display shelf immediately after the announcement. Suspects fled the business without obtaining any property or cash..

Officers in the area were alerted to the description of the suspects and were able to locate and detain three juveniles who fit that description.

The detained juveniles were identified as suspects in the robbery. All three juveniles have been charged. The same suspects were also linked to previous theft incidents earlier that day.
