CLEARWATER, FL – A car parked in a restricted habitat area along the Courtney Campbell Causeway was swallowed up by the incoming tide.
“Always pay attention to signs and barriers that try to keep you from parking where you shouldn’t. Someone decided to park this morning in an area where you’re not supposed to park along the Courtney Campbell Causeway and then went for a walk,” the Clearwater Police Department said. “Then the tide came in. And this was the end result. A wrecker was waiting for low tide late afternoon to try to remove the car.”
