Timid kitten Willow hopes for patient family to take her home

Shy kitten Willow waits for patient family at Northern Ocean County Animal Facility

JACKSON, NJ — A gentle brown tiger-and-white kitten named Willow is looking for a family to call her own, but staff at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility say she will need adopters willing to give her the time and space to feel safe in a new home.

Willow, a spayed female domestic shorthair, is described as shy and timid. Shelter staff say she would do best in a calm household where she can slowly adjust at her own pace. A quiet space and patient owners will help her build confidence and come out of her shell.

The kitten is available for adoption at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, located at 615 Freemont Avenue in Jackson. The shelter is open seven days a week from 1 to 4 p.m.
