Tinton Falls Police Assist in Arrests Following Stolen Vehicle Crashes

TINTON FALLS, NJ—The Tinton Falls Police Department (TFPD) assisted the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) in a series of events involving stolen vehicles earlier this morning on the Garden State Parkway. The incident unfolded near exit 100, leading to multiple arrests.

Upon arriving at the scene of a motor vehicle crash, officers discovered that three individuals had fled from a crashed vehicle, which was later confirmed to be stolen. After a brief search, two of the subjects were taken into custody.

In a related incident shortly thereafter, the NJSP pursued another vehicle that drove onto the property of a Colts Neck business adjacent to Tinton Falls. The driver of this second vehicle was quickly apprehended, and it was also confirmed that the vehicle was stolen.

The Tinton Falls Police Department is taking this opportunity to remind residents to always lock their vehicles and to avoid leaving keys, key fobs, or valuables inside. They also encourage the community to report any suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods.

The TFPD wishes everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day, urging caution and vigilance to prevent similar incidents.
