Toddler Shot In Deadly Quadruple Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Authorities are investigating a shooting in Southeast D.C. that left two people dead and two others injured, including a toddler, on Thursday.

The incident occurred in the area of 22nd Street and Alabama Avenue. At approximately 11:20 a.m., police heard gunshots and responded to the location.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene. A third man was injured and is receiving medical treatment. A 2-year-old girl, who was on a morning walk with daycare workers, was also shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are searching for a blue Dodge in connection with the shooting.
