Toms River holds Halloween house decorating contest with community voting

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Toms River Township announced its Halloween House Decorating Contest, inviting residents to participate by voting for their favorite decorated homes.

The event, organized by Mayor Dan Rodrick and the Toms River Recreation Department, encourages community members to view and vote on the decorated houses through an online form.

The township posted photos of the participating houses, with each image numbered for easy reference. Voters can select their favorite homes by using the provided voting link. According to the announcement, winners will receive select prizes.

“Mayor Rodrick & Toms River Recreation presents: HALLOWEEN HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST!” read the township’s social media post on Thursday. The contest aims to foster a festive spirit among residents and highlight creative decorations within the community.
