Toms River honors local trumpet player for Thanksgiving Day Parade achievement

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – The Toms River community gathered to celebrate James Warren, a standout trumpet player who represented the township at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, earning accolades for his musical talent.

Warren, recognized as one of the finest trumpet players in the area, was selected to participate in the prestigious event, an honor given to only a handful of individuals from each state. His achievement brought pride to the Toms River community.

During the ceremony, officials presented Warren with an award and a proclamation recognizing his accomplishment.

“We’re all so very proud of him,” said Mayor Dan Rodrick. “No one plays the trumpet like James or eats pasta like James.”

Warren’s journey from a young musician to performing on a national stage underscores his dedication to his craft and his role as an ambassador for Toms River.
