TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Toms River Police Department announced it is actively seeking applicants for the role of Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II. This call is open to individuals with a current SLEO II certification from a New Jersey Police Training Commission-approved police academy.
Additionally, the department welcomes applications from retired police officers who have concluded their service in good standing. Retired officers must have received appropriate training and meet the qualifications outlined in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-146 to be considered.
