Toms River Police honor veterans through Wreaths Across America program

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Officers from the Toms River Police Department joined the Wreaths Across America program on December 13, placing wreaths on the graves of military veterans to honor their service and sacrifice.

The annual program is part of a nationwide effort to remember and pay tribute to veterans who served their country. Local officers participated alongside community members to ensure fallen heroes are not forgotten during the holiday season.

“We are grateful to all who have served,” the department shared in a social media post highlighting the event.

The initiative underscores the importance of remembering veterans’ contributions and the ongoing commitment of law enforcement to support their legacy.

Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick thanked the police department and volunteers for their efforts.
