Toms River Restaurants Targeted in Overnight Burglary

TOMS RIVER, NJ—The Toms River Police Department is investigating a series of overnight burglaries at two local businesses, Breakin Bread Eatery and New York Water Bagel. The incidents involved theft, criminal mischief, and burglary.

During the incident, an unknown suspect or suspects forcibly entered Breakin Bread Eatery at 1177 Fischer Boulevard by throwing a brick through the front window. A safe containing cash was stolen from the premises.

The front window of New York Water Bagel, located at 542 Fischer Boulevard, was shattered using a paver brick, and a sum of cash was taken.
