Toms River Senior Softball All-Stars win Section 3 championship

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — The Toms River Little League Senior Softball All-Stars secured the New Jersey Section 3 Championship title Tuesday night, advancing to the state tournament.

The team clinched the win in front of local supporters, continuing a strong postseason run that has drawn praise from league officials and families.

“Congratulations to our Senior Softball All Stars for winning the New Jersey Section 3 Championship last night,” the league announced in a social media post. “Way to go ladies!!!! Best of luck in States.”

The victory earns the team a spot in the upcoming state-level tournament, with matchups and dates yet to be officially announced.

Toms River has a long history of success in youth baseball and softball, and this latest championship adds to the town’s record of competitive achievements in Little League play.

The Senior Division features players ages 13 to 16 and represents the final level of competition within local Little League programs before regional and national tournaments.
