Toms River Thanksgiving Garbage and Recycle Schedule Announced

TOMS RIVER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Toms River Township issued a notice regarding changes to sanitation and recycling schedules due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Department of Public Works will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 23. Consequently, there will be no sanitation or recycling collections, and the Recycling Convenience Center will also be closed.

Sanitation and recycling pick-ups scheduled after Wednesday will experience a one-day delay, with Friday collections moving to Saturday. Bulk pick-ups for areas with Wednesday and Thursday sanitation will occur on Wednesday, November 22.

Additionally, a special recycling collection is scheduled for November 22.

Township offices will be closed on both Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24, in observance of the holiday. The Recycling Convenience Center will reopen on Friday, November 24, and Saturday, November 25, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
