Toms River to Host Annual Food Festival This Saturday

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The annual Toms River Food Festival, hosted by the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District is coming back to town this weekend. The event is held on Washington Street, between Hooper Avenue and Main Street. The event will begin at 12 pm and end at 6 pm.

“Join The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District for our Comfort Food Festival. In addition to all the great food, the street will be filled with merchandise vendors, handcrafters, kids activities, live entertainment and a beer & wine garden provided by Toms River Volunteer Fire Co. #1,” the BID said in a bulletin about the event. “Local businesses, restaurants, breweries and distillery open on the street. Free Admission & Free Parking in downtown during the event.”

Washington Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event. In the event of rain or bad weather, the rain date is scheduled for Sunday.
