Toms River to Host Halloween Pet Costume Contest at Silverton Park

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – The Toms River Township will host a Halloween Pet Costume Contest later this month at Silverton Park, inviting local pet owners to showcase their costumed companions. The event, presented by Mayor Dam Rodrick and the Toms River Recreation Department, will take place on October 26 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Pets will parade around the park in their Halloween costumes, and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed pets.

Participants are reminded that all pets must remain leashed throughout the event.
