Shelter Cove Beach will host a free evening of live music, food trucks, and a fireworks display as Toms River's Summer Concert Series continues Tuesday night.

Toms River, NJ – Residents are invited to head to Shelter Cove Beach on Thursday evening as the Toms River Recreation Department presents another installment of the township’s popular Summer Concert Series featuring the Super 70s Rock Show.

NOTE: Due to forecasted rain storms, the concert has been rescheduled to Thursday.

The free event begins at 7 p.m. and is presented by Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick and the Toms River Recreation Department. The featured performance will be Super Trans Am’s “Super 70s Rock Show,” bringing classic hits from the decade to the waterfront venue.

Food trucks and fireworks planned

In addition to the concert, attendees can enjoy a variety of food trucks throughout the evening. A fireworks display is scheduled to begin at approximately 9 p.m. following the performance.

Organizers encourage guests to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the outdoor event.

Free shuttle service available

To help ease parking and traffic, free shuttle buses will operate from Toms River High School East to Shelter Cove Beach.

The concert is part of Toms River’s annual summer entertainment series, which offers free family-friendly events throughout the season at the waterfront park.
