Towson carryout sells $50K Lottery top-prize

TOWSON, MD. — The Maryland Lottery announced that a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top-prize ticket was sold in Towson for the Thursday, Jan. 2 drawing, marking the first top-prize win in the game for 2025.

The winning numbers were 5, 9, 11, 22, and 33, with the Bonus Ball 14. The lucky ticket was purchased at Stoko’s, a carryout located at 6821 Loch Raven Boulevard in Baltimore County. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.

In 2024, the game produced 36 top-prize winning tickets. This first win of the new year continues the excitement for Bonus Match 5 players across the state.

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it securely. The prize must be claimed within 182 days either in person at Lottery headquarters or by mail. Details are available on the Maryland Lottery’s website.
