Towson mass shooting leaves one dead, nine hospitalized as investigation continues

TOWSON, MD — Baltimore County detectives are working to piece together the events of a mass shooting in Towson on Tuesday evening that left one person dead and nine others injured.

The shooting occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard. Responding officers found ten victims at the scene, one of whom was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound. The nine surviving victims were transported to area trauma centers, most with gunshot injuries, and remain hospitalized as of Wednesday morning.

Throughout the night, detectives gathered evidence, interviewed witnesses, and reviewed surveillance footage to reconstruct the timeline of the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but no further details about the victims or potential suspects have been released.
