Traffic Alert: Crash downs utility pole, closes Robbinsville-Allentown Road

ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. — A motor vehicle crash has closed Robbinsville-Allentown Road between Main Street and Lilac Terrace, according to Robbinsville Township Police.

The incident, which occurred earlier today, brought down a telephone pole and live wires, prompting authorities to shut down the affected stretch of road for safety reasons.

Utility crews have been alerted to the damage, though there is currently no estimated timeline for when repairs will be completed and the road reopened.

Police are advising motorists to plan alternate routes and avoid the area while the situation is resolved.
