PATERSON, NJ—A significant traffic incident occurred early this morning on the I-80 eastbound ramp to Exit 58 – Madison Ave, involving an overturned tractor trailer and a fuel spill.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJ DOT) reported that the incident began at 4:57 AM and was later updated at 7:50 AM. As a result, all lanes at Exit 58A and Exit 58B are currently closed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes as cleanup and investigations are underway. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
