MARSHALL TWP, PA – A tragic incident unfolded last night when an 81-year-old man reportedly shot his 80-year-old wife before taking his own life.

Police discovered the couple deceased from gunshot wounds in their home located in the 600 block of Spang Road. The call came into County 9-1-1 at 9:06 PM, after which the police promptly responded to the scene.

Initial findings suggest that after shooting his wife, the elderly man called 9-1-1 to report the incident before fatally shooting himself. Detectives have begun an in-depth investigation into the circumstances surrounding this case.
