Headlines
If a headline contains inaccurate or misleading factual information, it will be revised promptly to accurately reflect the article.

If an incorrect image, caption, graphic, or video is published, it will be corrected or removed as quickly as possible.
If an image has been materially altered beyond routine editing for brightness, cropping, or color correction, appropriate disclosure will be provided.

Editorial Review
Every correction request is reviewed by our editorial team.
If we determine that a correction is warranted, the article will be updated promptly.
If the published information is accurate, no correction will be made, although we may clarify language if doing so improves reader understanding.
Retractions
Retractions are rare and are reserved for situations where a story is found to be fundamentally inaccurate, based on fabricated information, published in error, or otherwise fails to meet Shore News Network’s editorial standards.
