Traffic Stop in Annapolis Leads to Drug and Weapons Seizure

ANNAPOLIS, MD – A traffic stop in Annapolis on Tuesday, around 11:10 pm, led to the arrest of two individuals for drug and weapons possession. Officers stopped the vehicle in the vicinity of Archwood Avenue and Academy Street.

On searching the vehicle, officers found a loaded 9mm handgun, approximately 32.79 grams of suspected Phencyclidine, 8.26 grams of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl, 3.61 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine, and 1.77 grams of suspected Buprenorphine Hydrochloride.

The occupants of the car, identified as Heaven Nevaeh Bryan, 20, and Dexter Deon Burnside Jr., 26, both from Annapolis, attempted to escape but were apprehended and charged.
