Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges in Lusby

LUSBY, MD – On January 19th, DFC Shoemaker of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Rousby Hall Road and NB Rt. 4 in Lusby.

The stop was initiated because the vehicle was driven in the wrong travel lane.

The driver, Toni Louise Davis, a 64-year-old resident of White Hall, consented to a vehicle search.

The search uncovered a cut red straw with white powdery residue and a Marlboro box containing a tied plastic bag with white powder, which Davis confirmed as cocaine.

Following these discoveries, Davis was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center, facing charges of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis and CDS: Possession of Controlled Paraphernalia.
