Traffic Update: Disabled Tractor Trailer on George Washington Bridge

FORT LEE, NJ — A disabled tractor trailer has caused a traffic disruption on the George Washington Bridge this morning. The incident, which occurred on the upper level eastbound near the New Jersey Side Toll Plaza in Fort Lee, was first reported at 7:35 AM and updated at 7:49 AM. Currently, one center lane out of six is blocked.

Motorists heading towards New York via the bridge are advised to expect delays and exercise caution when passing through the area. The Port Authority of NY/NJ is handling the situation and working to clear the lane as quickly as possible to restore normal traffic flow.
