Transient man missing after leaving medical center in Westchester

RHINEBECK, NY — A 36-year-old man who has been missing since mid-April is the focus of an ongoing search across multiple counties in New York, and state police are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Cory D. Timberlake was last in contact with family on April 17, shortly after being discharged from Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Since then, there have been no confirmed sightings or communications.

Timberlake is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and green eyes. He is currently homeless and is known to travel by hitchhiking, often seen moving through Dutchess, Westchester, Columbia, and St. Lawrence counties.

Authorities seek tips as search expands across region

The New York State Police in Rhinebeck are leading the investigation. Timberlake does not own a vehicle, and his transient lifestyle has made the search more challenging. Officials are working to determine his last known movements and ask anyone with information to come forward.
