Trenton Area Drug Dealer Arrested Selling Heroin and Cocaine in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ— Atlantic City police officers removed a Trenton area drug dealer from the streets last week

The Atlantic City Police Department arrested a man for first-degree drug offenses following an operation conducted on March 8.

Officer Jennifer Sanchez, during a surveillance mission on the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue, witnessed Leroy Clark, 44, from Ewing, NJ, involved in a drug transaction. Clark was subsequently arrested by Sanchez along with Officers Nickolas Cardani and Anthony Nastasi, found with over eight ounces of marijuana in his possession.

Further investigations led to the execution of search warrants on Clark’s vehicle and hotel room, uncovering nearly 10 ounces of cocaine, 420 bags of heroin, and various items related to narcotics distribution.

Clark faces multiple charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), three counts of intent to distribute CDS, two counts related to distributing within a public zone, loitering with intent to distribute CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and money laundering.
