Trespasser charged after beating 57-year-old disabled woman with board

REHOBOTH BEACH, MD – Police arrested a 31-year-old woman after she attacked the disabled homeowner at a property where she was caught trespassing.

As a result of a trespassing incident that occurred in Rehoboth Beach yesterday morning, the Delaware State Police arrested 31-year-old Brienna Wildy for felony assault and other charges.

Troopers responded to a trespassing complaint at approximately 11:00 a.m., at a residence on Burton Avenue. According to the 63-year-old homeowner, his acquaintance Brienna Wildy entered his shed without permission, despite the fact that she was not permitted to enter his property.

In addition, Wildy confronted the 57-year-old disabled woman at the shed, according to troopers. The woman was attacked by Wildy with a wooden board, causing swelling on her arm. Wildy continued to argue with the homeowner after the attack until the police arrived.

She was charged with burglary, assault and aggravated menacing.
