Tropical Storm ETA Causes Minor Flooding in Areas of Broward County

BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA  –  Tropical Storm Eta is passing through Gulf of Mexico along the west of Florida and is already causing some minor flooding in the Broward County region. Broward County officials remind residents to use caution when traveling today.

“Tropical Storm Eta has caused flooding in some areas. If you must travel today, be mindful of flooded roads. Do not walk or drive around barricades or through standing water of unknown depth. Wait until the water subsides before traveling through those areas. Be safe as we navigate the effects of this storm,” the Broward County Sheriff’s Department said today.
