CUMBERLAND, Md. — A section of westbound Interstate 68 was closed for over an hour Monday night after a tractor-trailer jackknifed, blocking the roadway, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene near Beall Street around 9:30 p.m., where the truck driver reported losing control due to weather conditions. The driver was transported to a nearby medical facility with non-life-threatening injuries.

The roadway remained closed for about 90 minutes as crews worked to clear the scene.
