MORRISTOWN, NJ – U.S. President Donald J. Trump will be spending his Memorial Day weekend with his family in New Jersey.
Trump is scheduled to deliver the commencement address at the United States Military Academy on Saturday.
Earlier this month, Trump made a rare New Jersey endorsement, endorsing Jack Ciattarelli for governor in the June 10th GOP primary election.
It is expected that Trump will meet with Ciattarelli during his visit to the New Jersey, but neither the campaign nor the President’s team has confirmed at this point.
Trump’s endorsement sent shockwaves through New Jersey’s political establishment, upsetting his opponent Bill Spadea, who built his entire campaign around being the “trumpiest” candidate in the race.
Trump departed Washington, D.C., from Joint Base Andrews on Friday, en route to his residence and golf club in Bedminster, N.J., ahead of the graduation ceremony. The event marks his return to West Point, where he previously spoke as president during the 2020 commencement.

The 2025 ceremony will take place on the academy’s grounds in New York’s Hudson Valley, with over 1,000 cadets expected to graduate.
West Point has a long-standing tradition of inviting sitting and former presidents, as well as other national leaders, to address its graduating class.
The U.S. Military Academy has not released details about the content of the speech or the expected attendance.
