Trump Needs to Die: Man Shouts As He Throws Chairs Off Hotel Balcony

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Jack Campitelli, 58, was arrested on July 24 after allegedly throwing chairs from a hotel balcony in downtown Nashville and making threatening statements about former President Donald Trump.

Campitelli, who was reportedly irate and ranting about political figures during his booking, declared: “Trump needs to die because he was a liar.”

He is currently held at the Downtown Detention Center, charged with vandalism, disorderly conduct, and trespass, according to jail records.

His bond totals $2,500.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at the JW Marriott on 8th Avenue South. Metropolitan Nashville Police were alerted to the disturbance around 6 a.m. by a hotel employee who flagged them down. The employee reported that Campitelli had been asked to leave multiple times but refused, ultimately tossing two chairs from the balcony onto the sidewalk below.

At least two officers responded to the scene. It is unclear if Campitelli has retained an attorney.
