Turtle Creek Shooting Sends One Victim to Hospital

TURTLE CREEK, PA – A shooting early Wednesday morning in Turtle Creek ended with one victim being sent to the hospital.

According to the Allegheny County Police Department, at approximately 12:55 am Allegheny County 9-1-1 dispatchers were notified of shots fired in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue.

“Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting at that location,” the department said. ” A short time later, an adult male arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He is listed in stable condition. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation.”
